Dustin Poirier was victorious against Zach Micklewright at WEC 52 Thursday night. Poirier unleashed a barrage of heavy punches that Micklewright couldn't withstand. The end came at the :53 mark of the first round with the ref stepping in to stop the fight due to strikes. Micklewright was out on his feet and the ref had to hold him up until a stool could be brought in for him to sit on.
